Travel by Car - Caledonian MacBrayne
ferries run a regular service to the island from Kennacraig (note that

ferry crossing is approximately 2 hours.
Travel By Air - British Airways fly to
Islay from Glasgow Airport on a regular basis (weather permitting).
Travel By Coach - Scottish Citylink
Coaches run a service direct to the ferry terminal at Kennacraig from
Glasgow (see contact details opposite)
Car Hire - D & N MacKenzie (VW)
will deliver a car to the ferry or airport at your request.

either ferry terminal follow
signs to Bridgend and then follow the A847 towards Port Charlotte
& Portnahaven for
approximately 1.5 miles. Carnain Cottage is located on your right hand side
after a fork in the road. |
